We only sell high quality items, so if you are donating items, please ensure they have no stains, damage (e.g. holes in jumper cuffs, missing zip pulls) or alterations. We check items before selling them on and discard any items that are unsuitable*, but we would love to be able to sell everything that is donated.

*The charity that used to take sub-par clothing closed down and we have not found anyone wanting the unsellable items, so they are currently taken to the refuse centre by the carload**. We would love to find a home for them, if anyone knows of a charity that could use them please get in touch.

 

**We are still getting many unsuitable donations, despite pleas. Going through each item takes time, and the quantity of unfit items causes delays in us fulfilling requests. Please, please, check items before donating them! The council will collect any unsuitable items on your usual rubbish collection day.
